Kris Brown
Kris Brown is a DJ & Producer hailing from south west UK. His original tracks and remixes incorporate an electronic style that is ever evolving day by day. His main influence is progressive, deep house and classic trance; "melodic but with an electro-progressive flare is the usual order of the day!". Kris is currently working with fellow producer Nikos-P and DJ Mars Vertigo for events, and is signed to Polytechnic, Rimoshee, Vise Versa and Fever Sound, who are releasing many of his original tracks and remixes throughout 2011.
An avid electronic music fan, Kris began listening to Balearic House and Trance from the tender age of 12. He started DJing in 2003, Using Vinyl. By 2008 he had moved to both Digital DJing and the now industry standard CDJ mixing. Although many would still deem laptop DJing as an industry killer, Kris has fully embraced the modern technology;
"Those who tend to complain about us DJ's who use Macbooks and new technology are usually those stuck in the past. The truth is, while it can be comparatively easier to beat match and create a set, it's upped the game for the true DJs who want to add some sparkle, or a personal touch to their live gigs"
With a vast amount of clubbing experience ranging from beautiful small time events at Planet Angel in London to Privilege & Amnesia, Ibiza, Kris has had a big taste of the party pie. He now aims at returning the favour in DJing & Production; "One of the main reasons I love DJing is because I have evolved naturally, like so many other great DJs, from clubbing. The electric atmosphere of trance breakdowns, bouncy progressive beats and smooth build ups has always given me a buzz. To think that I can get like minded people up there with me onto the next level makes me so excited. I want to share the feeling with the real people out there.
